Since their inception in 1996, Tridium has partnered with SPARK to develop all of their hardware enclosures, which package a range of software product platforms for worldwide markets. By virtue of SPARK’s partnership and hardware expertise, Tridium has been able to focus on their core competencies in software and electronics, which led them to become a global leader in the HVAC controls market.
In 1996, Tridium developed revolutionary software that integrated diverse HVAC and building systems controls into a single, easily managed, web-based browser. Once the raw hardware and software was complete, Tridium turned to SPARK for an enclosure to house their sophisticated electronics.
The JACE 5 was Tridium’s first product, and is still self-described as their “bread and butter.” As Tridium developed new products for diverse markets like OEM, security, telecommunications and medical markets, SPARK continued to design enclosures from sheet metal to DIN rail-mounted injection molded plastics.
Tridium’s partnership with SPARK has produced a track record of innovative HVAC control products that have achieved unprecedented growth.
Tridium’s explosive success with the JACE 5 quickly vaulted them from a local start-up to a world leader in the HVAC controls market, resulting in an acquisition by Honeywell in 2005. However, this acquisition did not end SPARK’s successful partnership.
Tridium’s partnership with SPARK has produced a track record of innovative HVAC control products that have achieved unprecedented growth. Now as an entity of Honeywell, Tridium has continued to collaborate with SPARK as they expand their portfolio of successful HVAC and building controls products.
Let’s make something together
